What Alaia is

Alaia is Datup's generative AI assistant for supply chain. It answers questions about demand forecasting, sourcing, and inventory in a conversation, with each company's data integrated privately.

My role

I'm a Product Designer at Datup since August 2025. I redesigned Alaia: the conversational experience with streaming, interactive schedulable reports, and a drawer to consult the agent without leaving the dashboard.

The problem

Alaia only answered questions and lived far from where users actually work. In supply chain, decisions are made with data that changes every day and has real consequences: the assistant had to be right there, inside the work.

The key decision

A transparent agent, in a drawer over any module.

What Alaia does today

Prompts to optimize operations, such as analyzing suppliers or the products with the greatest impact.

  2. 02

Conversations you can save and share

Insights don't stay in the chat: conversations are shared with a link and can be downloaded as a PDF.

  3. 03

    Desktop and mobile

Quick access from your computer or phone, whenever you need it.

  4. 04

    Confidential data

Your data is only handled by Datup and is confidential.

Result

Design ready for development.
